Travel Information

Hello all,

I started this blog so I'd be able to post about what I'm up to in France this fall. The best way to contact me while I'm away will be by email -- grasso.christine@gmail.com. I'm also hoping to be on Skype occassionally, so you can find me there under the username diddygabbo. And, of course, there's always Facebook.

Here's a basic overview of what's going on -- I will be in France from September 13 until December 9 as part of a teaching exchange sponsored by the Fulbright Commission and organized by the University of Akron. I'll be flying into Paris with the other teachers in the program. We'll be there for a couple of days, then we have two weeks of cultural/language work at a French university in Angers. After that, we'll each travel to the city in which we are assigned to teach. I will be spending the rest of the program in Creteil, a city right outside of Paris. I don't really know anything about my teaching assignment or my living arrangements. I guess I will see about that when I arrive!
